I am looking for a paper towel holder with blue roses to match my kitchen decor.? My kitchen decor is the blue velvet pattern from corelle. It is all blue roses. I am looking for a paper towel holder to match.
Kitchen Decor? I just remodeled my kitchen and now have to re-decroate. I now have a 1foot space or so from the top of the cabinets to the ceiling. My kitchen USED to have all vegetables and antiques. My kitchen now has blue, beige, cream, brown flooring (vinyl - looks like tile) with oak cabinets, brown, cream swirl mixed countertops that is called sandstone, beige wall tile with a off white pain for trim and a very light brown almost beige paint for the walls. The light above the sink is now a tiffany stained glass with greens, browns and beige. The regular light is the exact same as the other light just bigger. I rather not cram the top of my cabinets with tons of items to keep it simple and clean but what can I put up there that is just a couple things that looks nice to accent the kitchen and fill the empty space?
Where to find apple decor for kitchen? I am redoing my kitchen in apples, I have checked out abc distributing, collections ect, and walmart, does anyone know of other great places to find Apple decor?
What are some traditional themes for kitchen decor? I want something nice and not tacky. I'm not into animals or the frutis (apples, watermelons).. I nelp with my kitchen decor!? Right now my walls are a deep red (grenadine). I have white cabinets with that red as accents in the grooves, black and white check linoleum floors(i plan to change them in the future because they are a pain in the neck),black and stainless appliances, black table and chairs, and black countertops. What kitchen themes and/or colors should I use? I'm trying to get ideas for my kitchen decor/theme. I think my colors are quite odd....I have laminate grayish countertops with white cabinets. The tile floor is marble-like with the same gray color of the counters and white and a little cream. All of my appliances are white also. The walls currently are a light pale yellow, which I think clashes with the counters; however I'm not sure what color to repaint the kitchen considering the kitchen and living room are separated only by a bar counter. The living room is painted that same light pale yellow. (Living room furniture=tan and cherrywood furniture). I don't want to replace the countertops right now. I'm open to all suggestions...except country themes.

need help with kitchen decor??? i recently installed a black slate counter-top in my kitchen as the first stage of a kitchen reno. my faucets are chrome and the sink is stainless-steel. the ceiling is made of metal embossed tiles but has been painted over numerous times (currently white). theres no room for a table and chairs but there is a small eating nook with a built-in bench on either side (I would like to upholster these benches--fabric ideas?) the walls are about 9' high. theres a 1 foot high baseboard and a large crown molding at the ceiling. the floor is a mid-brown (tobacco) colored hardwood which i dont want to cover. the cabinets are wood which has also been painted many times and are now a dingy beige color. (I believe they are the original cabinets). the house is a art-deco style circa 1922, so i would kind of like to be authentic to that style, but a few modern touches might be nice as well. I dont want anything fussy or cluttered or floral patterns. wall colors? cabinet colors? help ps: there is a 4-light mission style chandelier with square, upward-flaring shades. the light fixture is dark bronze and the shades are made of amber colored mica there are 2 windows, both very long and narrow. they have shutters on them now that go about 2/3 up the length of the widow. the top 1/3 is frosted glass panels. but i could remove these shutters if necessary, theyre painted an ugly beige

French Bistro Kitchen: Where can I find the decor???? I decided to do my kitchen in a Parisian Bistro theme. The only problem is, I have no idea what this means! *lol* I have bought a few items but am having difficulty coming up with some ideas. I have been looking forever for a small chalkboard that I'd like to put in the corner of the kitchen on a medal easel. I'd like to put a menu on there to add to the "bistro" feel. Any other ideas? What should I paint my kitchen cabinets? I have a dark reddish orange kitchen, with alot of brown metal decor....what color should i paint my wooden cabinets? I have a red/orange kitchen, and dark brown metal decor (table, mirrors, sconces ect.) I want to paint my cabinest a light color to contrast the dark walls and brighten it up a little. I also visited a pfallzgrafft (sp?) outlet store and got some adorable dishes. I know that Target has VERY cute cupcake stuff around valentines day, but of course, not any more. How can i make my own kitchen cabinet doors for cheap? my cabinet doors are old and falling off and i need some neat ideas for some cheap DIY ideas. once i heard some chanel on tv doing a door out of some kind of like chicken wire and putting it in a frame to make some neat doors but i need something like that that will be cheap hopefully to do. my kitchen is decorated in green ivy mostly as the decor. please help.
Picking color for kitchen walls? We are remodeling out kitchen. It will have a simple feel but he actual decor will be more vintage inspired. What do you think is a good color for kitchen walls? The cabinets will be a medium brown and the floor is a slate muti-colored tile. When it's layed, one will be a deep blue, 1 a deep green, one a terra cotta, one a deep red, 1 deep purple etc) Deep muted colors. Oh another thing is originally I wanted like a mustard yellow. However all my new plates and stuff are blue so I wanted to pull some blue in in case we opt for the glass doors in the cabinets. I dont want blue and yellow so maybe I shouldn't concern myself with the plates and glasses. Keep the idea coming! Want a color that makes the primary color decor pop off the walls!
What color appliances will work in my kitchen? In my kitchen I have oak cabinets and oak wood laminant flooring. I really want stainless steel appliances. Right now my counter tops are butcher block, but I don't care what color they are, I just really like the looks of the stainless steel. My question is will the stainless steel work with the oak color and a basically western style decor? Also, what color countertops would you chose if this combination works?
Does a led color shelf work in a kitchen with a neutral green? I'm putting in a wet bar and trying to think of something original to do. The kitchen color is Clary Sage, a Sherwin Williams neutral green. The living room is Relaxed Khaki, another SW color. I have cherry hardwood floors and white cabinets. A dark granite countertop is soon to come. I want to put in a wet bar that would have a sink, dark wood cabinet doors, a granite countertop and a mirror with glass shelves to display glasses. Would a led-color shelf work with my current color scheme? Does the neutral / natural colors look clash with led accent lights? How to fit a spacer / decor panel between two appliances? Hi, We are installing/fitting the new kitchen. We have 2 integrated (built under) appliances (dishwasher and washing machine). They are not in housings. When we ordered a Spacer Panel (décor panel) to go between the two was included. How do we go about fixing this panel? I presume that it should not be screwed into the washing machine (!!) Would brackets at the floor and wall be enough? Thanks for your help, T

For those who like tuff questions!,what can i do to hide my washer-dryer that is in my very small kitchen? I have a very small kitchen/laundry, the kitnchen is 7' and a half long and 4' of walking space, followed by a 2' and a half long and 3' of walking space laundry (it's like a hallway). The entrance from the garage to the kitchen/laundry is on front of the washer-dryer, (the door is 2*8). And my real concern is that I resently decorated the living and dinning area very very nicely and you can clearly see all the very white and plain kitchen/laundry and ofcourse it doesn't match at all with the rest of the decor of my house. The decor consist on rich chocolate, gold, cream tones, with leather, iron, wood, bamboo,textures and some stones and topiari touches here and there. I can't really come up with a creative idea for the kitchen /loundry to like kind of hide away the laundry (if possible) and try to make the kitchen white and plain cabinets to blend in with the rest of the decor of the house with a low budget. Should i have exposed hinges on my kitchen cabinet? I am thinking about refinishing my kitchen cabinets and to have it painted white. It doesn't seem like I can get concealed hinges . Should I not worry about exterior hinges as being passe and buy white hinges to blend with the cabinet color or should I spend twice the amount and reface only to get the concealed hinges. Is there much in the way of house decor items to buy in Disneyland Paris? E.g. tea towels, kitchen stuff etc? I am looking to add magical touches to my home and will be visiting disneyland paris for a few days in may. I was wondering whether there are any home decor type shops in disneyland? Any sort of home accessories/decor would be great. Are there any shops you would recommend? Need a paint color to take away but blend well with southwest style cabinets in kitchen??? Hello! Need some help... I am moving into a new rental house that has southwest style cabinets (kinda have that pinkish gray look to them) and I hate them, but obviously can't change them cause it is a rental home. So, I am wondering if anyone knows of a good paint color (cause I can paint the walls!) that would take away from the southwestern style look but still blend well with the pinkish gray cabinets??? Decor ideas? Moving into a new apartment in a few days. This is what I'm working with....When you walk in it's a hallway and along your left side is a shoulder high ledge that separates the kitchen from the hall. It is at most 6 inches wide. Probably half that, though. under it, is the left-side kitchen counter. The kitchen is very small about 7 by 7 and the counter makes a U shape around the standing space (if that makes sense.) The counters are light blue, but can be painted white. That's all I can do paint-wise. We aren't allowed to paint the walls or anything else. The floor is neutral. Appliances are white. Cabinets are brown but can be painted light blue or white to match counters. I get the decorate the kitchen and the bedroom. My fiance gets the livingroom and bathroom. There are no windows in the kitchen. Any color scheme ideas? DIY decor ideas? I'm on a seriously small budget but want it to look nice. Details, pictures, etc always win best answers:)

my living room decor? Ok I have painted my living room this "Garden Paradise" color and a wood cask, what color funrniture would look good in here? would it be Cherry Oak or something different? How do you recover seats of wicker bar stools with permanently attached cushions ? These are wicker bar stools made for outdoor use. The chair cushions are made of weather resistent fabric and the cushions are permanently attached to the bottom of the chair. I would like to recover this outdoor fabric with indoor fabric to match my kitchen decor. I need ideas on how this can be done without ability of removing the cushions.
Why are some dish towels so unabsorbent? What can be done to make them more absorbent? I purchased very nice brand name towels that match my kitchen decor. However, they barely absorb anything when drying dishes. Help!
