Where can I find someone to help us design a kitchen and bathroom?
We bought a cottage type place that has no kitchen in it at all and a bath with just a toilet and shower, we are having trouble figuring out what to do that would look good. Is their a virtual site that we can go to or someone that can design something that wont cost a fortune for them to plan something

- call a contractor it will save you in the long run, I hate when homeowners try and take on projects of that size and i have to go in and redo everything. such a waste of money
- Go to Lowes or Home Depot or any large DIY store with your dimensions. They have trained staff to help with layout and you can get your costs based on your material selections. They also have installers who can do the job if it is too much for you. Good Luck

- Hire a professional so you get it right the first time. It's too costly a job for a do it yourself mistake. Home Depot and Lowes also offer some help but I would still look for an outside pro whose skill is focused on kitchens and baths.
- Lowes or Home Depot can help you. Go to them and ask to meet with one of their contractors. They can help you pick a design as well with what they have available. Check several places and don't decide on anyone until you feel comforatable with them, and until they meet you in your budget parameters.
