Water heater question?
I'm designing some furniture for a small kitchen. However, there is a small water heater in the kitchen and it looks ugly. I was wondering if I could cover it with wood or aluminum louver doors... is this safe? Also, do you know of any good internet sites that might have ideas for small kitchens? Thanks!

- You could consider an on-demand electric heater that mounts under the sink. The space the heater is in now could be converted to cabinets or another use. Water for cooking should be cold, so hot is only needed for cleaning purposes. HGTV has many decorating ideas.
- My water heater sits in my laundry room and stuck out like a sore thumb, so i constructed a picket fence by buying 5 foot pickets and very small hinges and hooking them all together. the hinges let you wrap it around your water heater so it is form fitting and toooo cute. you can paint it if you like but I bought cedar pickets so i left mine natural. try this web site for your kitchen http://www.hgtv.com/
