Can you give me some ideas for a tattoo?

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for quite some time now and have decided to get one that represents my passion in life, cooking. Funny passion to get a tattoo of, but it's a big part of me. All my life I've been helping in the kitchen with my parents and grandparents, and now I'm in my own kitchen working professionally as a pastry chef. I've been trying to think of a tattoo design, but I can't seem to think of any good ones. I'm not planning to get a giant mural on my back or anything, I want one about the size of a hand. Can you give me some ideas? Oh, well, I was looking at my hand when I put that down.. my hands aren't that big.. I was thinking like palm size haha thanks for the ideas! Keep 'em coming! :] I'm not getting a tattoo just because "everyone else has one". I'm getting one for myself to enjoy.

A muffin? I don't know but smaller is better. Lots of guys don't like big tatoos on girls -- if that matters to you.
pastry is like cakes and stuff right? if so how about something with a cake and one of those icing squeezing things decorating the cake(you could make the cake a picture of one you actually made..) or maybe you could make it a heart shaped caked with the icing squeezer adding the last line around the edge...or something like that...

Hmm if you're talking about the size of a whole hand, I could suggest perhaps suggest maybe portarait of a pastry chef with some of your favorite pastries to bake or maybe just a scene of the kitchchen top with all the ingredients across it.....one more suggestion you can go to your tattoo artist and talk to that person about what you're looking for....if you have a wicked good artist they can draw you up a wonderful tattoo that you'll love... It relieves me to hear that someone is actually looking to get a good custom tattoo with meaning.
actually getting one of a pastry would be a really fun tatoo. I suggested to a vegan freind of mine to get a band of their favorite fruits and veggies, they thought it was a stupid idea
if you dont know what to get..then dont get one...you'll really regret it later in life....if you got something that you didnt want....that somebody else decided/ told you! believe me... im 17 (18 in 3 months) and i made that mistake already! so just do you...dont rush to get one...just cuz everyone else has one!

Tattoos are personal. Opinions are ok, but don’t ask a stranger to pick one for you. If you don’t know exactly what you want, you probably aren’t ready to get one. When you do know what you want, or just need a little help with the placement and tweaking, ask your artist. A good artist can turn your ideas in the beautiful works of art.
I love the concept of the tattoo that you are trying to design! Tattoos should represent something personal to the wearer and express something special about them and I think that you really have that in mind. I don't have any particular ideas for you, but if you have an artist in mind s/he will be able to help you design a custom tattoo that should reflect your passion for cooking.
