- train him
- it may seem mean to some, but squirt guns work real well...
- discipline the dog.. or leash it
- Train him - you should have been training him since the day you got him. Since he doesn't know how to behave, he needs to be crated when you're not home to watch him. When you are, keep him close to you so you know what he's doing. When he goes to jump on something he's not supposed to, tell him off. Give him lots of praise and treats for complying. You might also want to spend some time doing some obedience with him - teach him useful things like sit, down, stay, using lots of praise. Does he get enough exercise? Sounds like this dog is likely just bored and/or spoiled and needs some exercise and training.
- Scold him! You have to teach him thats wrong! As soon as you see him up there...grab him and say NONONONONO!!! He has to learn what NO is... I did that with my dog and now he listens like a charm...hes a perfect dog now =) If he continues to do that..I would go with the squirt go and a harsh NO
- Don't unsolve this.
- well everytime he does it pick him up set him on the ground and firmly tell him NO. if he trys to be really nice ignore him and if he does it again once again pick him up set him on the ground point to what he jumped on look at him and firmly tell him NO
- teach him how to behave, exist schools for dogs
- He must be a very big Shih tzu dog to jump on a kitchen table. I have had 2 for 9 years now. They tend to be self willed and standoffish. I gave up trying to train them years ago.
- So unreal to me that a Shih Tzu would do this. Mine get on my furniture because they are allowed to , but I never known one to get on a kitchen table. It is so unlike them to do this. The proper name is Shih Tzu .. A Shih Tzu is a people dog, they need a lot of attention maybe that is what he is after. I really don't know what to tell you about this, all Shih Tzu's I ever been around isn't that way. Try to give him more attention they love nothing better than sitting on your lap and being petted. Have to say to Tony here sooooooooooo true lol
