- check home decor stores for paint and use a wide bristle brush to paint them
- Melmine paint and use a small foam roller it does a great job and stands up very well
- Ummm you don't say if you intend to keep them white or change the colour completely. Either way you will need to take them down...be careful when you do this label them where they are to go back and make sure they are completely dry before you attempt to put them back up. They will probably need to be primed and then you can get a paint which is designated for kitchen/bathroom use. Be careful you don't get paint on the handles or hinges. I moved into a place once and the cabinets were covered in grease and I had to sand them down and then use the appropriate paint...I don't think they had done this in the past.. I am thinking of painting my cabinets too...just bought a new house cabinets are wood...pine colour...I love wood...but kinda looking cottagey/dated you know...so I was thinking bleached oak look but a lot of work so maybe next year...lol Anywho have fun with your project and know that their are lots of paint stores who have a decorator in house more than willing to help you. All the Best XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
- Use a semi-gloss and a "best" quality brush. Make sure the old paint is very clean and if it has a gloss finish, sand off the shine before you paint. You don't need to take the cabinets down but you will need to take the doors and hardware (handles, knobs, hinges) off. Put the hardware, including screws, in individual baggies so you won't lose anything. Tape around the cabinets as if you were painting walls. I did this last year and they turned out beautiful.
