How do you remove rust from chromed kitchen cabinet hinges?
We have older kitchen cabinets in our rental home and the hinges are rusty in places. Is there anyway to get the rust off to try and salvage them for a few months until we can afford to buy new ones? We tried steel wool -but it just knocked off the high spots. I'm going to try Brasso this afternoon. Any other suggestions?

- There is a product called CLR it works great on rust. pull off the hinges and soak them int the product for while.
