what paint do i use to paint kitchen cabinets?

I have ordered the doors but have to paint the other surfaces. I need to have a high gloss finish

the paint stores have special paints for cabinets I used a oil based only because I wanted a high shine and be able to wash them down if necessary good luck
Semi-gloss Enamel or Gloss if you like shiny
Its best to prime them first . Zinsser B.I.N is the best product for priming anything . Then you can put a gloss finish on top of that or a eggshell / satin finish on top of that .
The best paint is a product called Melmine paint it is oil based but is a more durable than enamel
Cabinet Coat paint from Insl-X. Self leveling, beautiful finish, and very durable. You can buy it or special order at all Ace Hardware stores but it's also available at many independent paint stores.
