Help w/ trying to fit red into my decor.?

My new house has RED PEPPERS border around the top. (my landlord say I cold take it down) But there is read accents everywhere. Not just the border. Any ideas on Kitchen Decor that would match Chili Pepper Red? Besides Chili peppers!!! They said I could get rid of the border with the Chili Peppers.. But the kitchen is still trimmed in Red...

  1. add some black that will tone down the red.. or add some black an white check it will look like a little resturant!
  2. I agree with the previous poster. I would add another color to tone down the red. You could use black, I think that would make it look modern. Accent colors to add - in the form of curtains or rugs, or wall hangings, anything! -Black -Blue -Yellow -Brown -Silver -Gold Good luck to you! Sorry about your chili peppers!
  3. Sorry, but I'm terrible at this!
  4. Red goes with a lot of things. You can go cool and match it with a muted green and some light earth tones, or you could go exotic and match it with mustard yellow, slate blue, and navy. If it's an orangey red (some chili colours are), you can match it with muted green and muted gold.
  5. "Chef motif" "Rooster motif" "Sunflower" or Tone it down with a dk green and blak- Mix it and add a '"fiesta" theme...
