  1. If you go to Lowes or Home Depot with the dimentions of the kitchen they will do a design of what you can put into the kitchen...and the best part is that they do if for FREE
  2. def. lowes or home depot. nice product and free design!
  3. There are a lot of things to consider. How many walls are in this space? What appliances will you have? Assuming you have only one wall, position the sink at sufficient distance from the stove so that food prep can be accomplished. Position the fridge on the opposite side of the sink from the stove. That way your meal prep goes from storage area to modification area to cooking area and then to serving area. Think through the process of preparing a meal even if it's just cereal in a bowl. I've seen kitchens lined up on one wall that worked wonderfully and only occupied about 15 feet of wall space. think outside the box.
  4. Lowes or Home Depot can help, for sure. But just as important as the exterior layout is the interior layout. Especially in a small kitchen. I would consider getting them to help you organize the inside of the cupboards, as well. Those pull out cupboard organizers and a nice pull-out pantry are going to gain you lots of extra storage space. A center island that will also handle storage, is also a great open top for food prep, and if you build out the top a little, can be a nice counter for enjoying a quick meal with a couple of bar stools perched in front. And if your ceilings are high enough, a hanging pot rack will free up lots of cupboard space, too. So when you go into the store to get a design, don't just go in with the dimensions of your kitchen, go in with a firm idea of how you use your space...IE: Cooking, Entertaining, or just a place to microwave a quick meal, etc. That will have a lot of impact on your overall design. Good luck. Hope this helps.
