Will wood putty work in the holes of my cabinets where the old hardware was? I want to redo knobs in kitchen.?
I want to redo the hardware on my kitchen cabinets. Currently, I have what I call the "old pine door" cabinet hardware. Very dated. I feel I can update the kitchen simply buy putting in new counter-tops and cabinet hardware. The appliances and cabinets are still in good shape. I am concerned that I will have issues with finding pulls that will match up with the holes already. Plus, my hinges are on the outside and I would really like to have them on the inside. This will leave holes if I do it. My cabinets are a light pine color. I was wondering if I could just put a wood putty in the holes if needed or if that would look really bad.
