Can you share ideas on how to decorate a kitchen?
I'm having a kitchen renovation but I don't have enough money to hire interior designer to design my kitchen, Any one please share your ideas?

- What I did was to draw the room to scale and try different layouts. Then I took my ideas to where I was purchasing my cupboards and we went over my ideas with his ideas and came up with a combination of the two..love my kitchen. Any place that sells and installs kitchen cupboards will do this for a price, or free if you purchase your cupboards there, but you can do this yourself with paper and a bit of measuring..Just know your appliance sizes to make them fit in the design. As for deciding on your cupboard choice and colour..oohhh...so many to choose, and then wall colour and appliance colour and countertop type and colour...you will have fun if you like that sort of thing...I loved doing it.
- if you go to b@q they will come out and look at your kitchen to give you a idea of what it could look like.then you could take that idea with you. doing it yourself is cheaper than getting someone inot do it. if your kitchens not ok just change the fronts of the unit rather than the whole thing. move and change units according to your prefered lay out. b@q is quite cheap so go and have a look. b@q is free by the way.you dont have to buy anything.
- here you can find all about that
- Here are some tips to start with: http://jgkitchens.blogspot.com/2008/07/top-3-kitchen-remodeling-mistakes-you.html BTW, You're best off using a professional kitchen designer. Some will apply their design fee to the cost of your cabinets, essentially making their expertise free. I'd visit the National Kitchen & Bath Association web site and find someone in your area. Using a pro can save you both time and money by avoiding expensive mistakes.
