what sheen should i paint kitchen cabinets if i am going to put poly finish over them.?
i have made some kitchen cabinet doors. i want to have a glazing on them before i completely finish them.... here is my process and i do plan on using latex paint. latex water based primer lightly sand Paint w/ latex (flat or eggshell?) use water base poly. vandyke brown glazing Then a couple more coats of poly. does the sheen of the acual paint matter?

- Flat. The other coats will adhere better. The final coat will determine the sheen.
