What color paint should i choose?
My apartment has light beige floor and i have white furniture.my curtains,rug,kitchen accessories are all red. my bedroom has blue curtains and white and brown mix furniture.for budget reason i want to paint my whole apartment in one color.what color paint should i use so that it will match all the rooms and i dont have to spend alot.and if you have any decorating ideas plz do share with me.thanks.

- Gabywill...took the words right out of my mouth. A pale golden yellow is the way to go, indeed. I am an interior decorator who offers paint color consultations. I have a client who wanted to paint her whole house one color (other than the neurtal tans) and I selected a golden yellow. Her husband was very opposed to the idea but she was open minded. I was so sure this color would work, that I said if they did not like the paint after the main areas were painted, I would pay to have their color choice repainted over the golden yellow. The husband was impressed with my offer and felt safe to proceed. Whelp, they both loved it and although their entire house is one color, you would never realize it because yellow goes very well with so many other colors. For instance: One room has blue and cranberry accents. Another has green accents. Another has periwinkle blue (on the lavandar side) accents with apple green. The kitchen has raspberry and green accents and the den has navy blue accents with red. With all of these different colors in each room, you would be so surprised to see how that one golden yellow color paint really sets it all off without even realising you are in a single wall color home. So, true, tried and tested, pale golden yellow is a great wall color that will go with a wide variety of other colors.
- A dark gray. Or a light gray that would look good.
